The Bridges School
Located in the Penthouse Suite at Quinta Camelinas, we had great fun in 2016 and 2017 making art in my studio.

People seemed really interested in creating and being a 40 year veteran art teacher…it certainly was soulful. I am formalizing my little operation which will be called Puentes La Escuela (The Bridges School). I have truly found my winter home in Zihua. I am excited to announce that I will be Artist-in-Residence at Quinta Camelinas starting on January 21 – April 1, 2017. This means that visitors are welcome to visit my studio and I will have a free (only supply fee) open studio once a week by appointment for Quinta guests. I will also be available to host open workshops for 4-6 people at a time for $20 a person. I have been a teacher for over 40 years. -20 of those as an art teacher. Bev’s 65th Birthday.
There are many Canadians here
and Bev was turning 65.
Notice MUST be taken for these
milestone birthdays
or as Bev described it…PAYDAY!!
Karen, from Toronto, rented my extra room for a week and had a lovely time adventuring and embracing the concept of assemblage art making or as I prefer to call it in my unrelenting war against Modernism- trash art.

Judy is a fellow Minnesotan and started off on the wrong foot with me by saying “I am not very creative”. As you can see below: That was just NOT true!! Her work ” Protect my Heart” was such a powerful example of how social practice art making can change YOUR world!!
I also hosted long time Zihua resident, Linda Fox and Dorathy to create neck pieces.
