My last graduation ceremony at Bemidji was wonderfully soulful. My colleagues and students sent me off with fabulous lunches, brunches and dinners and wonderful gifts…several made by their own hands!

Bob Griggs, partner in starting DLiTE took me for a lovely dinner and gave me a stone carving created by a local Ojibwa man.

Kris Nei, presented me with a basket made by er own hands and filled it with a handmade quilt and local artisinal oils and vinegars. Kris, PEDL Coordianor, is smartie with heartie. It does not get any better than that!!
